JEMMER IMAGiNO TEACHiNG / DESiGNiNG / ENABLiNG / CREATiNG
My vision through JEMMERIMAGiNO is to encourage understanding, acceptance of others and creativity in the world. I work to accomplish this through my primary focus as an art educator. I am energized at the opportunity to increase creative learning, ability and self-confidence in all ages of humans. Clean, colorful, confident communication guides my design aesthetic in all genres I practice and explore. I retired in June, 2023, from full-time public school art teaching to 650 young humans in two elementary schools in Long Island. I am an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University and SUNY New Paltz. I bring creative endeavors to libraries, schools, businesses and retirement communities. I am dedicated to providing education and understanding on gender equity and validation, the theme of my book "ABC Answers for Curious Humans". Additionally, I provide graphic design and direction to my clients.
My young artists constantly surprise and amaze me with their enthusiasm for challenge and knowledge. I teach all ages how to trust their own ideas and abilities and make connections through artistic endeavors.
